Prime Minister Imran Khan and Chinese President Xi Jinping met for an official meeting in Beijing on Saturday.
The Pakistani delegation was also present during the meeting and will now be holding delegation-level talks with Chinese officials.
Various agreements are scheduled to be signed between the two countries.
The premier is in China for the Belt and Road Forum, where he made two separate addresses. Today (Sunday) he is scheduled to meet officials of the KCIO telecom company and attend a lunch by the Pak-China Trade Investment Forum being held in his honour.
He will also visit the headquarters of some automobile companies and visit the Pakistani stall at a cultural exhibition being held in the city. He will leave China today at 11pm and arrive in Pakistan on April 29.
