Pakistan Cannot Condone US Drone Attacks On Its Soil – PM Shahid Khaqan Abbasi || Viral Videos Cloud
Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, in a talk at a US think tank on Wednesday, said Pakistan cannot condone US drone attacks on its soil.
Speaking during a meeting at the Council of Foreign Relations, Abbasi said the US needs to treat India and Pakistan equally, adding that Pakistan does possess nuclear weapons but they cannot fall into the hands of terrorists.
Abbasi, elected prime minister last month after the disqualification of Nawaz Sharif by the Supreme Court, is in New York to attend and address the United Nation’s General Assembly session.
Shahid Khaqan Abbasi (Urdu: شاہد خاقان عباسی; born 27 December 1958) is a Pakistani politician and the designated Acting Prime Minister of Pakistan. A member of Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz), Abbasi previously served as the Minister of Petroleum and Natural Resources in the third Sharif’s ministry from 2013 to 2017 and briefly held the cabinet portfolio of Minister for Commerce and Ministry of Defence Production in the Gillani ministry in 2008.
Abbasi has been an elected Member of the National Assembly of Pakistan since 1988, representing Rawalpindi. He is the owner of Airblue; and previously served as Chairman of Pakistan International Airlines from 1997 to 1999 during the second Sharif’s ministry.
