LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Maryam Nawaz has finalised National Assembly constituency NA-127 in Lahore to contest the forthcoming election from, sources informed Geo News Friday.
Sources said the PML-N’s parliamentary board has also approved Maryam’s candidacy from the constituency.
The former first daughter had submitted her nomination papers from National Assembly constituencies NA-125 and NA-127 in Lahore. She had also submitted her nomination forms from Punjab Assembly constituency PP-173.
Her candidacies were approved by the respective returning officers. However, she would now be contesting the elections from NA-127 and PP-173 constituencies.
On the other hand, PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif sought contact details from individuals willing to volunteer for election campaign of the party.
Shehbaz, in a tweet, asked individuals to contact the party along with details of their respective districts and educational qualifications.
