Police say the crash was because of the driver’s negligence
At least 12 people were killed and five others injured in a passenger van accident in Rawalpindi on Monday.
The van was carrying 17 passengers. It was on its way from Sargodha to Rawalpindi.
The speeding van crashed into the Islamabad Toll Plaza wall. A fire broke out in the van following the collision, burning 12 people to death and injuring five passengers, according to the Motorway police.
The accident was caused by the driver’s negligence, said police.
